Well here I am, also known as Greg, Gregory, tekiegreg amongst other handles that I've used in my time. I've been in computers most of my life, from my humble little days with an Apple IIc back in elementary school, to the Pentium Dual Core 2.8 I have today as I type this. Evolved from good ol' line number basic that I programmed with back in the days of the Apple II, through QBasic, through Visual Basic, into .NET today. Since then I've acquired much else about programming, and IT in general.

Nowadays I still enjoy programming, but I hope to mentor more, teach others how to program effectively, and teach managers how to get requirements and set expectations rationally.

When I'm not programming? I'm about to become a new dad so that will take up some time for sure :-) you'll also find me playing a round of Civilization IV or 2, studying for my MCSD (though soon I shall have it and will try for the .NET 2.0 certs), our just outdoors chatting with the neighbors, relaxing and enjoying life.
