So this weekend is probably going to be time for my annual holiday tradition, yup the Christmas lights on the house. It’s bad enough that I need to ascend heights with a ladder and staple gun; worse that I have to do it with one outdoor plug in the back of my house that can’t keep hold the plug for the lights in the socket. If the wind just blows in the slightest, off go the lights. I suppose I should just call an Electrician, fix that socket and put another one in the front to make life a bit easier…but I just can’t work up the enthusiasm for Christmas lights. Maybe it’s the Jew in me.
I’d be curious to see if I’m not the only one out there. Anyone care to chime in?

Electircian?! You sissy. Do it yourself!!! If you are in a real pinch, just bend the prongs of the plug closer together and it will be more snug in the socket. OR you can duct tape the wire to your socket! That’s the hillbilly in me talking.
